Chapter 4

WE WERE ALL SMILES that night, all of us were, and as they took their turns one by one in my pussy, I thought how much nicer it was, without all the masks. I could see them laughing and gazing and smiling at me. No one spoke in hushed whispers to conceal the tone of his voice; rather they chatted and joked rather merrily with one another as if, for the first time, this was really a party.

I had just bade farewell to the thirtieth man when the Jester bent down close to my ear. “You doin’ okay?” he whispered.

“Great!” I answered. “Best Bacchanal ever!”

He smiled and, through my bodice, squeezed my breasts with his hands. I smiled back, again wondering what it would be like if he sucked them. Maybe one day I’d know.

We made love long into the night, me and the men of the crowd, long past midnight, which, by tradition, should have been the end of Bacchanal. But I wanted to take my time this time. Somehow I couldn’t send a man away who had not finished if I knew his name, his place, and his occupation. One may treat a stranger that way. That isn’t the way one handles one’s friends.

It was after two when I caught a glimpse of the king, standing in the corner, watching the action. He hadn’t gone to bed, either, and he hadn’t told us to stop. Indeed, he was beaming rather proudly at me, as if he thought I would make a good queen. I hoped I would.

It was past dawn when the Jester hauled me, dripping and exhausted, through the halls of the castle and back to my chamber. Many of the men had crashed in the ballroom, and many more were still hanging out with each other, playing cards and chatting as if they never wanted the evening to end. I knew how they felt. One by one they stood up as I passed, bowing their respects to the Princess. Some of them waved their penises in my honor. I returned the courtesy with the most royal wave I could muster. It wasn’t much, I’m afraid. I had been clutching buttocks all night and my arms were dead-tired.

When I finally woke, it was evening again, and the Court Jester was still by my side. He had been by my side forever, it seemed. I was beginning to think I liked it that way.

I smiled as I watching him snoozing. He looked so odd without his belled cap. It would take some getting used to.

Suddenly his eyes popped open like jack-in-the-boxes and he smiled, too.

“Marry me,” he said.

“Excuse me??!!”

“Oops, sorry. I meant to say good morning.”

“Phew! Because for a second there I thought you were serious.”

“I am serious. Marry me.”

I frowned. Marriage was hardly on my list of priorities for the next year. Besides, I was a princess. There were considerations for me in choosing a husband that went beyond whether he looked good in tights or a belled cap.
